Building the Digital Infrastructure for Grassroots Cricket
ScoringDeck is an open, modern cricket scoring and tournament management engine built to give amateur, school, community, and box cricket the same precision and prestige as international broadcasts.
01 The Story Behind ScoringDeck
Millions of cricket matches are played every weekend across local turfs, city grounds, and school tournaments. For decades, these games have relied on wrinkled paper scorebooks, chalkboard tallies, or cumbersome apps overloaded with advertisements, login friction, and slow load times. Important career moments—like a bowler's 5-wicket haul or a batter's match-winning half-century—were frequently lost to history once the paper sheet was misplaced.
Founded by Abhimanyu Sharma (software engineer, cricket enthusiast, and community player), ScoringDeck was developed to eliminate these bottlenecks. The platform was created with a fundamental philosophy: scoring a local match should be as fast as a tap, as mathematically accurate as an ICC match center, and accessible to anyone with an internet connection without paywalls.
02 What Makes ScoringDeck Unique?

A4 Match Certificates
Instant generation of downloadable, printable match summary PDFs and Player of the Match certificates for team recognition and presentations.
03 Mathematical & Rules Integrity
Cricket has intricate regulations governing extras (wides, no-balls, leg-byes, byes), over limits, bowler rotations, and strike changes. ScoringDeck's calculation engine incorporates official MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) Laws of Cricket while offering flexible configurations for box cricket and turf formats (such as customized over counts and penalty runs).
We also publish authoritative reference materials in our Rules & Guides Hub to educate scorers, captains, and tournament organizers on standard practices.
04 Platform Management & Support
ScoringDeck is actively maintained and continually updated with new capabilities based on feedback from real grassroots players and leagues. We welcome feature suggestions, bug reports, and tournament partnerships.
